New guy with old truck
Alright guys.....I have a 1969 GMC 3/4 ton with a 350 and a granny 4 speed tranny. It is in rough condition and I want to restore her.....where do I start??? All I know is that all of the wiring needs to be redone because the whole cluster panel is out and I have a short somewhere under the hood because I have to disconnect the battery everytime I stop the truck. I need some guidance here and I would appreciate any help anyone could provide on where to order parts or to get a new wiring harness for the whole truck!!!
Thanks......Bobby
Thanks......Bobby

Bobby,
There are several places you can get wiring harnesses for Chevys. Take a look in our Chevy resouces page for some listings https://www.classicpickups.com/cms/reso ... erlet-gmc/.
If you want to go a inexpensive yet quality route, you can take a look at a universal wiring harness. Speedway Motors sells a good high quality 12 or 24 circuit harness at a hard to beat price.
