After stripping the top of the engine down (Carb, hoses, etc), it was time to do a leak down test. Normally you would do a compression test, but the engine was out of the vehicle and that didn't seem feasible, so I opted for the leak down test  Even at that, the engine should be warm for a leak down...

As part of my Resto-Mod build of my 72 Scout II, I need to refresh or rebuild the 304 V8 that came out of it.

Now on to the interior.  I had a local upholsterer redo the seats, door panels and sun shades.  They turned out great.  We did not reuse the bottom springs on the seat, she just had me cut a plywood form and she made it out of foam from there.  The headliner on these are just a piece of upholsterer'...
