Videos on Rebuilding the Torqueflite 727
Since we are going to have to rebuild the transmission in our Scout II project, I have been searching for information on the Torqueflite 727. I found this video on Youtube of a group doing just that for a high performance build. Thought I would share:

Re: RustyBucket's 1972 Scout II Revitalization
OK, it’s been way to long since we added anything to this blog.
So we finally go to a point that we can start working on this again.
Here is a video of where we are at this point. Hopefully soon we will have an update on some additional progress.

Re: RustyBucket's 1972 Scout II Revitalization
It has been a long while since I did an update on the Scout II Project. That is because until the last month there hasn’t been any work done on it. Various work and family related projects took over. But now we are back hard on it. First I decided to call her Heidi after Heidi Montag. By the tim...

RustyBucket's 1972 Scout II Revitalization
IMAG0160.JPG Here we go again. I just can’t seem to help myself.A few months ago my son and I went past a local salvage yard, and there was a gold Scout II sitting in the yard waiting to be crushed. Well you know that couldn’t happen, so my son Brad stopped in later to check on it. It was a 197...

On to disassembly. In the next couple of pictures we point out the speedometer adapter that needs to be removed.
Then we move on to removing the tail housing.- Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:14 pm

TorqueFlite A-727 Transmission Rebuild
I was going through archives trying to get some content on the board and I came across some photos I took of the rebuild process on an A-727 transmission. I am not sure I have pictures for everything, but I will post up what I have and try to fill in the rest as time allows. Anyway, in these picture...

Re: International Harvester 304 SVC Rebuild
Got the engine back from the machine shop today. They had to bore it at .030, the crank was turned down .010 and they milled .007 off of the top. All in all pretty good. 20170315_120042.jpg Now I need to wait a day for the temps to get out of the freezing range and for me to get over a cold and we...
